Baked Crispy Kale

Ingredients

  • 400g kale
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp Chinese five-spice
  • 1 tbsp light brown soft sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 6, 200°C, fan 180°C. Spread the kale on 2 baking trays and drizzle with the oil. Scrunch it with your hands to distribute the oil.
  2. Mix the five-spice, sugar and sesame seeds and sprinkle over the kale, then roast for 7 mins. Toss well, then roast for 5 mins until crispy.
